Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
  • Assist in Data Collection for the purposes of Data Science operations like Machine Learning.
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
  • Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, fraud detection, sales forecast and other business outcomes.
  • Assess Model accuracy using common metrics (AUC, F1 …) and explain results to a broader audience
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

Requirements

  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or any quantitative field
  • At least 1 year of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on explainability
  • Experience working with and creating data architectures, data cleansing and transformation techniques.
  • Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
  • Knowledge of statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
  • Familiar with concepts and practices of machine learning, data mining, pattern recognition, statistics
  • Preferably having good understanding of deep learning, graph representation learning, or natural language processing
  • Experience querying databases and using SQL
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills for coordinating across teams and able to articulate predictions/patterns.
  • Knowledge of any of the following software/tools/programming languages:
  • Coding knowledge and experience with several languages: Python, C, Java, JavaScript, draw insights from datasets, etc.
  • Cloud Computing especially with GCP, AWSo Jupyter notebooks
  • Statistical and data mining techniques
  • Creating and using machine learning algorithms and statistics regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, classification/clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
  • Analyzing 1 or more machine learning platforms: H2O, DataRobot, Dataiku, Databricks
  • Distributed data/computing tools: Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, MySQL, etc.
  • Visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using: Tableau, qliksense, D3, bokeh or any visualization tools in the industry.
  • Those who have attended training on machine learning and visualization are welcome.

Shortlisted candidates will be offered a 1 Year Agency Contract employment.
