Responsibilities
- Make questionnaires, focus groups and Translate business objectives into research steps
- Work cross-functionally to build relevant primary research collection tools for customers
- Identify and collect relevant data points
- Construct and maintain a central database for recording market data.
- Consistently exercise independent judgement and discretion in research matters
- Deploy statistical modeling techniques to analyze data and forecast future trends
- Manage external research vendors
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Work on proposals as well as deliver work
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably within psychology, sociology, statistics, communications, or marketing
- 2-5 years of direct experience within similar roles
- Work experience in market research firms like Kantar, Nielsen, GFK, GLG, and so on, or in Insights /Strategy department team of a digital platform or CPG player
- Experience in looking at data, making sense of it to generate insights
- Experience in making questionnaires/discussion guides or having them made
- Experience working with cross functional, cross-country teams, dealing with clients in changing briefs/ evolving briefs.
- Good quantitative and qualitative skills
- Good ppt and presentation skills, able to build a storyline
- Generate compelling insights (not information)
- Team player
- Knowledge of expert interviewing, FGD, and moderation techniques
- Knowledge of statistical tools/analysis
Shortlisted candidates will be offered a 1 Year Agency contract employment.
