Responsibilities

Client Solution Delivery:
  • Design, build, test, and deploy scalable solutions for clients using Salesforce Marketing Cloud core studios (Email, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, Contact Builder, etc.).
  • Develop custom SFMC solutions utilizing AMPscript, Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), SQL, and APIs to meet specific client requirements and integrate with their technology ecosystems.
  • Configure and manage client data structures, segmentation strategies, preference centers, and complex data integrations within Marketing Cloud.
  • Implement and troubleshoot Marketing Cloud Connect and other integrations with Salesforce CRM (Sales/Service Cloud) and external systems.

Technical Expertise & Consultation:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities, best practices, and limitations.
  • Translate client business requirements into well-architected technical solutions within SFMC.
  • Perform technical analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization of client SFMC instances and campaign performance.
  • Stay abreast of the latest SFMC features, releases, and relevant marketing technologies, advising clients and internal teams accordingly.

Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work collaboratively within project teams (including functional consultants, project managers, developers, and architects) to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Engage directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements, demonstrate solutions, provide updates, and manage expectations.
  • Clearly articulate technical designs, issues, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences (client and internal).
  • Contribute to project documentation, including technical specifications, test plans, and deployment guides.

Vendor & Platform Liaison:
  • Interact effectively with Salesforce support and potentially other third-party vendors as needed during project delivery or for issue resolution on behalf of clients.
  • Understand vendor capabilities and limitations to inform solution design and client recommendations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Proven experience with core SFMC modules (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder).
  • Strong technical skills in AMPscript, SQL, and SSJS. Experience leveraging SFMC APIs.
  • Experience with data management, data modeling, and segmentation within SFMC.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, OR equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. 
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, project-based, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (Email Specialist, Developer, Consultant, Administrator).
  • Experience with other Salesforce Clouds: Hands-on experience or significant familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (Community Cloud), or Data Cloud (CDP).
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Connect setup and configuration.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and client-side JavaScript for email/landing page development.
  • Prior experience working in a consulting environment or client-facing role.
  • Experience interacting with technology platform vendors (e.g., raising support cases, discussing platform features).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.


Shortlisted candidates will be offered a 10 Months Agency Contract employment
