Responsibilities
As the Network Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, planning, and successful implementation of critical network infrastructure projects. Your technical expertise and leadership will be pivotal in ensuring our network solutions align with business goals and exceed industry standards.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, network engineers, system architects, and customer business leaders, to design and develop robust network architectures that meet project requirements and business objectives.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and infrastructure components,good knowledge of system and security technologies, protocols, and infrastructure components to make informed decisions regarding equipment selection, network design and integration.
- Evaluate and manage vendor relationships, negotiating scope of work and ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, providing technical guidance, assigning tasks, and fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting activities to validate network functionality, performance, and security, resolving teething issues that arise during design and integration phases.
- Custodian of the documentation of network design, planning and configurations to ensure the technical sustainability for the sector assigned.
- Work with network presales consultants to develop detailed and customized technical proposals for tech refresh, add-on, or variation orders, clearly outlining the benefits, features, and value of the proposed network solutions.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation such as automation to enhance network performance, reliability, and security.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business goals.
Requirements
- CCNP certification is required, demonstrating a strong foundation in network design and implementation.
- CISSP and CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure certification is considered a significant advantage, showcasing exceptional expertise in complex network environments.
- Proven experience as a Network Architect or in a similar role, leading successful network projects from inception to completion.
- Extensive knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and infrastructure components.
- Good knowledge of system and security technologies, protocols, and infrastructure components
- Solid experience in vendor management, scope of work negotiation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
