Responsibilities

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Servers, vSphere ESXi
  • Manage Server Hardware (HPE preferred) 
  • Configure, deploy and manage Azure Cloud assets
  • Perform NetApp Storage administration
  • Daily monitoring and troubleshooting of our distributed server landscape will be part of the task together with project work.
  • Verifying the compliance and integrity of our systems is key to keep a high level of quality.
  • Performance optimization and capacity monitoring is as essential as the resolution of end user problems through SAP’s internal ticketing system.
  • Changes done to our landscape also include updating or creating documentation for level 3 Niche Area service. 

Requirements

  • Min 5 – 7 years of hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, VMware vSphere administration, server hardware (HPE preferred)
  • Expert knowledge of Windows troubleshooting
  • Expert knowledge of installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Microsoft cluster Services
  • Experience knowledge of MS Azure, MS Hyper-V
  • Experience in PowerShell (ability to read, modify and create scripts)
  • Basic Project Management experience 
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes
