Responsibilities

Technical Support:
  • Assist with Java application development and troubleshooting.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and data analysis.
  • Support users with technical issues and work on improving system performance.

Functional Support:
  • Understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Work with users and developers to improve processes and functionality.
  • Test and ensure new features meet business needs.

Problem Solving:
  • Identify and fix technical issues related to Java applications and SQL databases.
  • Help analyze operational problems and suggest improvements.

Teamwork:
  • Work closely with both technical teams and business users to ensure smooth communication.
  • Contribute to system improvements and process automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience working with Java, Cobol and SQL.
  • Experience in technical support or a similar role is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in operational support, including incident management, monitoring, and resolution.

Optional 'Good to Have' Skills:
  • Experience with Enterprise Java-related backend frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, JPA).
  • Experience with frontend UI development, particularly with React and Typescript.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel VBA and Excel Macros.
