Responsibilities
- A critical member of the team responsible for the delivery and support of technology solutions.
- Will be involved in full SDLC cycle of the system with experience in system integration.
- Business Domain and Knowledge: Ability to acquire business knowledge and domain expertise quickly and independently.
- Define Project Scope: Collaborate with stakeholders to generate project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop and Track Project Plans: Create comprehensive plans, including resource allocation, task dependencies, and milestones.
- Lead Kick-off Meetings: Initiate projects with kick-off meetings and regularly monitor progress.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify and manage project risks, issues and develop mitigation strategies.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve system issues by determining root causes and communicating with relevant teams.
- User Engagement: Conduct user gathering, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and training sessions.
- Documentation: Prepare and update project documentation and reports diligently.
- Identify Improvements: Recommend improvements for team, system, or data deficiencies.
- Monitor Quality: Ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Track Requests and Expenses: Monitor service requests, change requests, and project expenses to identify potential delays or cost overruns.
- Understand Requirements: Gather and comprehend business requirements.
- Scope and Effort Estimation: Collaborate with engineering and business teams to define scope, effort, and timelines.
- Prioritize Requests: Efficiently prioritize and track service and change requests.
- Lead Cross-functional Teams: Manage teams including developers, testers, business analysts, and business users.
- Application Development Methodologies: Understand and adapt methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) based on project needs.
- Manage Budget Adjustments: Proactively manage budget adjustments and seek necessary approvals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), or a related field.
- Candidates with relevant IT diploma or Work Experience may also apply.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant Project Management experience for medium to large-scale projects with a preference for Public Sector projects.
- PMP certification is advantageous.
