Responsibilities

  • Work independently to complete essential job functions ensuring IT Infrastructure best practices, data protection and cyber security measures are implemented and followed across business entities in Asia
  • Ensures compliance with all IT infrastructure and security policies mandated by the Group and escalates all non-compliance to the Head of IT Asia
  • Ensures alignment and adherence to Asia and Global IT Governance
  • Lead Cyber Security efforts to defend against incidents or compromise and coordinate incident response if required. 
  • Develop and implement the regional strategy for IT equipment, core infrastructure systems, cybersecurity awareness training, in cooperation with the Global IT and external business partners. 
  • Responsible for overall delivery of IT infrastructure and security projects for the organization, by performing the full spectrum of project management (overall project estimation, project planning, resource planning, budget management, issue management, risk management, change management, vendor management and communication planning).
  • Act as a bridge between the technical consultation team and the business team in the preparation and submission of all project approval documentations.
  • Propose infrastructure and security enhancements to improve reliability and service performance. Ensure that infrastructure monitoring and management, troubleshooting and SLA reporting tools are in place.
  • Work with a team of shared resources with the necessary know-how to ensure smooth delivery of each project.
  • Perform technical requirements and data gathering analysis for technology requests that include networking platforms and cloud services. 
  • Support technology audits and complete related service requests.
  • Conduct regular reviews and meetings with business users, as well as business partners, to ensure that project budgeting and schedules are on track.
  • Collaborate with external partners to develop and complete SOWs for service requests and infrastructure projects.
  • Establish, implement, and oversee external business partner procedures to ensure SLA compliance with network and infrastructure managed services.
  • Perform capacity planning and sizing of the network platform and cloud infrastructure resources. 
  • Provide IT support for the Singapore office (the location of this role's office) and oversee regional support tasks. Work with first and second level support teams for Network, PC Life Cycle, and Office IT across business entities to ensure stable network and infrastructure services. 
  • Responsible for problem management efforts including root cause analysis and information security incident response. 
  • Assist in maintaining inventories of the organization’s IT assets within the scope of this job description.
  • Assist the Network Operations Center and Security Operation Center team with the ongoing management of the company’s network appliances and security measures. 
  • Serves as an IT mentor and technical resource to other IT engineers and business users 
  • Provides expertise in the IT hardware and software configuration, management, users training and administration of Multi Technology based solutions. 
  • Acts as a senior member of a team supporting enterprise-wide IT systems and services (40/% Technical, 60% Managerial)
  • Be responsible for the local and regional IT infrastructure Budget in coordination with local GM and Head of IT Asia
  • May be assigned work as is deemed fit from time to time in addition to the abovementioned duties and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related engineering and technical fields
  • At least 12 years of IT working experience, with at least 4 to 5 years of managerial role or project management exposure in:
  • Regional IT infrastructure and cybersecurity enhancement project in Asia Pacific
  • Service Delivery Management (Project Vendor and Managed Service Vendor management and Service Level Agreement).
  • CISM, ITIL, PMP or CITPM certifications will be preferred.
  • Possess a strong understanding of both general and recent IT infrastructure and cybersecurity technology, information security compliance for cloud and on-premises environments, data protection, managed services, and IT policies development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Cloud and Microsoft 365 (M365) Cloud platform. 
  • Proficiency in Project Management, Vendor Management and Risk Management
  • Knowledgeable in cybersecurity audits and VNPT tools and practices.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and M365 Entra ID is a plus.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell or Unix shell scripting for basic operational purposes is a plus.
