Responsibilities

  • Reports to the Divisional Manager and carry out leading functions of the Service Delivery Division 
  • Develop detailed project plans outlining project scope, objectives, timeline, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and manage the execution of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Identify and manage dependencies between tasks and across project work streams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including IT specialists, business analysts, and external vendors.
  • Assign tasks, set expectations, and monitor progress to ensure that project milestones are achieved.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring all members have clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Engage with business leaders, project sponsors, and other stakeholders to define project goals and objectives.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, risks, and changes.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts or concerns as they arise.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively address issues that may impact project delivery, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines and outcomes.
  • Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges or changes.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing deviations from the original plan.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for senior leadership.
  • Maintain and update project documentation, including project plans, timelines, risk logs, and issue trackers.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and business requirements.
  • Oversee testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure project success.
  • Review and ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards for IT projects.
  • Contribute to improving the organization’s project management processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Share lessons learned from completed projects to help refine best practices and improve future project outcomes.
  • Encourage a culture of learning and process optimization within the project management team.

Requirements

  • Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT project management or a related role in Corporate Banking (Trade Finance, Lending, CASA, Payment) field.
  • Preferred certifications : PMP, Agile/Scrum certification, or other relevant project management certifications.
  • Preferred skills : Familiarity with Corporate Banking systems, software development life cycle
  • (SDLC), cloud technologies, or enterprise applications and Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as MS Office Tools, Jira, Confluence, or others.
  • Proven experience in managing IT projects, including software development, infrastructure, or system implementation.
  • Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue identification and resolution.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
