Responsibilities
Technical Support:
- Assist with Java application development and troubleshooting.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and data analysis.
- Support users with technical issues and work on improving system performance.
Functional Support:
- Understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Work with users and developers to improve processes and functionality.
- Test and ensure new features meet business needs.
Problem Solving:
- Identify and fix technical issues related to Java applications and SQL databases.
- Help analyze operational problems and suggest improvements.
Teamwork:
- Work closely with both technical teams and business users to ensure smooth communication.
- Contribute to system improvements and process automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 3-4 years of experience working with Java, Cobol and SQL.
- Experience in technical support or a similar role is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in operational support, including incident management, monitoring, and resolution.
Optional 'Good to Have' Skills:
- Experience with Enterprise Java-related backend frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, JPA).
- Experience with frontend UI development, particularly with React and Typescript.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel VBA and Excel Macros.
