Responsibilities

  • Manage, oversee and control the efficiency of the Network Operations
  • Lead the management of all incidents and problems to identify the root cause and implement workarounds or resolutions to bring the incidents and problems to a satisfactory closure
  • Troubleshooting and resolving of all issues including application and server related issues
  • Performing technical system review of third party and custom built application, in addition to application data analysis where required
  • Lead and execute various technical or infrastructure initiatives (e.g. network enhancements, upgrades)
  • Ensuring Service/Change requests are implemented in accordance to operation processes
  • Ensure all incidents and requests are resolved/completed within SLA
  • Engaging the customer and/or vendors to ensure the smooth delivery of services
  • Facilitating meeting with various parties (e.g. Customer representatives, third party vendors, Principal Support Vendors)
  • Collaborate with other teams within the project to ensure smooth delivery of services
  • Providing prompt and accurate operational status updates to the Operations Director and Customer Representatives
  • Analysis of infrastructure and capacity planning for future projects/growth.
  • Identify, lead and implement automation initiatives to improve operations

Requirements

  • A Degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent with CCNP/CCIE certified
  • A minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in Managing IT Service Delivery
  • Prior experience in a technical role with leadership
  • Strong technical competency with recognized professional certifications in either Network & Security or Systems domain
  • Prior operational experience adopting ITIL best practices, advantageous if
  • Strong investigative, analytical, problem solving skills - ability to identify problems and provide solutions
