Responsibilities

  • Analyse the existing structure and flow of the business process within the software system and find out how enhancement can be made within or integrated with the system
  • Understand and participate in requirements and reviews meetings with the client
  • Design logic to be implemented for the software system based on the requirements provided by the client
  • Understand the architecture of the existing software system and give specifications to the development team involved in the development process so that the systems developed meets the needs of the client
  • Lead the development team in the application development
  • Ensure that development standards, policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure that development of the software system are accurately estimated and delivered to schedule
  • Conduct user acceptance testing with the client based on the software system developed
  • Ensure documentation are created and updated based on the changes made to the software system
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
  • Knowledge in Relational Database Management System (RDBMS)
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in C# .NET, SQL
  • Strong technical skills and hands-on experience in application development with C#, .NET, SQL
  • Good communication and leadership skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of users and vendors
  • Creative problem-solving capabilities
  • Able to work independently under pressure, pro-active, organized and results driven
  • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented individual who produces results at high standards
  • Good team player who has strong competency and experience in managing and motivating multi-disciplinary teams
