Responsibilities
- SAP NetWeaver ABAP Application Server / Basis of S/4HANA design, implementation, and administration such as Installing SAP S/4HANA (ABAP stack).
- Configuring SAP application instance.
- Designing & implementing SAP client and instance strategy
- Configuring SAP transport landscape.
- Familiar with SAP client maintenance such as client copy, client delete, system copy.
- Applying various SAP patches (Application, NetWeaver, kernel).
- Installing and configuring SAP Web Dispatcher, Cloud Connector and SAP router.
- Understand SAP authorization concept as well as its administration.
- Scheduling SAP batch jobs.
- Implementing SAP High availability solution.
- Implementing SAP backup and recovery solution.
- Responsible for maintaining SAP system landscape and fulfilling SLA requirements.
- Responsible for performance troubleshooting and providing recommendations for solution.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- More than 7 years relevant experiences.
- Good in developing rapport with clients and users.
- Experienced in various SAP NW administration tools (e.g., SUM, SWPM).
- Strong in SAP HANA design, implementation, and administration such as:Understand the architecture of SAP HANA.
- Experienced in using HANA administration tools.
- Experienced in implementing and administrating HANA instance (e.g., starting/stopping, maintaining parameters, managing memory, monitoring sessions & transactions, managing redo logs, managing & distributing load.
- Experienced in performing DB administration tasks (e.g., managing tenant DB, data & log volumes, DB backup/recovery, managing DB landscape (e.g., cloning HANA system, renaming, etc.).
- Understand well the design & mechanism of HANA HA & DR.
- Experienced in administering HANA system replication, monitoring, take-over, fallback.
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager.
- Experience in supporting SAP system landscape in Linux environment.
- Ability to articulate well trade-offs of one option to another (e.g., technical approach, design, setting, etc.)
- Proven ability to work independently and at the same time, able to work as a team.
- Ability to lead small - medium team of people in critical/urgent situations.
- Ability to lead & facilitate discussion / meeting / workshop from technical perspective.
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skill (e.g., capture & write clear minutes of meeting, produce technical documents, frame problem/issue clearly, etc.)
- Display professionalism and good interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
