Responsibilities

  • Work with project teams to undertake the installation and configuration of network and security systems
  • Troubleshoot network & security infrastructure, including analysing and fine-tuning network design as part of the integration plan
  • Undertake the testing of applications, implementation and evaluation of network and security products and solutions
  • Manage vendors and ensure that the completed works are satisfactory and meet the requirements
  • Involve in Change Management of systems, including
    executing configuration changes as part of change management
  • Provision of technical recommendations as and when necessary on matters relating to network technologies and administration
  • Recommend and coordinate the application of fixes, patches, disaster recovery procedures in the event of a security breach
  • Ensure network infrastructure complies with security policies
  • Update process and procedural documents
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology/Information Systems/Computer Science, Business IT or its equivalent
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience and in-depth knowledge in planning, designing, implementing and troubleshooting of network security systems
  • Certificate in CISSP is a must
  • Good knowledge and abilities to perform hands-on implementation and support for a wide range of network security and technologies of the following, but not limited to: Firewall technologies (high availability, virtual firewall concept) IP load balancer Distribution and core switches Router configuration (high availability) LAN and WAN administration
  • Good understanding of a services business in a high-tech environment from a supplier, integrator or operator’s perspective
